About the Role:
In the capacity of Quality Control Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the superior quality of our fashion products. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections of garments, facilitating cross-departmental collaborations, and guaranteeing adherence to all production protocols. This role demands a sharp eye for detail and the capability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive inspections of garments for fabric imperfections, stains, and sewing discrepancies.
- Confirm that SKUs align with order numbers and that all fabrication specifications are met.
- Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to manage and document defective garments.
- Ensure that defective garments are processed correctly and designated for further action.
- Coordinate with shipping departments to ensure accurate dispatch placements.
- Monitor and manage the flow of items from quality control to shipping.
- Maintain accurate and current production schedules.
- Assist colleagues in recording quality-controlled units and overseeing production timelines.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and urgent requirements to ensure seamless operations.
- Exhibit initiative in decision-making, particularly regarding garment pass/fail evaluations.
- Strive for efficiency and aim to achieve production targets ahead of deadlines.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in quality control within the fashion sector.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to perform thorough inspections.
- Strong communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- Capability to manage and maintain precise production schedules.
- Problem-solving abilities and adaptability to evolving priorities.
- Familiarity with garment production and knowledge of SKU management is advantageous.
