About This Role

As a Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse with TotalMed Staffing, you will provide specialized care in the Catheterization Laboratory. Your expertise will be essential in assisting in procedures, monitoring patients, and ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in cardiac catheterization procedures by preparing patients and operating equipment.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care in the catheterization laboratory.
  • Maintain a sterile field and ensure adherence to infection control protocols during catheterization lab procedures.
  • Monitor patients' post-procedure recovery, assess for complications, and provide post-procedure education and support.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
Requirements
  • Current RN license
  • BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
  • 2 years of recent Catheterization Laboratory experience.
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
