Charge Nurse Opportunity at Three Crosses Regional Hospital

We are seeking a skilled Charge Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Three Crosses Regional Hospital. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a critical role in leading our nursing team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, adhering to established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Lead efforts to create a safe patient environment and deliver exceptional patient experiences.
  • Coordinate discharge plans utilizing an interdisciplinary approach and apply evidence-based practice to deliver patient care.
  • Assume a leadership role in the care team, delegating tasks to unlicensed personnel and promoting collaboration among healthcare team members.
  • Promote a culture of safety by identifying and intervening to prevent patient harm, reporting patient safety events, and seeking to identify potential safety issues.
Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Nursing
  • BSN preferred
  • State Nursing License
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Previous emergency department hospital experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of clinical experience
