Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our team at Health Advocates Network-Rochester. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, working closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients. This is a 12-week contract position, with the opportunity to extend or convert to a permanent role.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing diagnostic procedures.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices in patient care.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New York.
  • 2 years of experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse.
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Moderate sedation training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
