Job Title: Bartender

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Jackmont Hospitality. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to our guests, while providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• ID all guests ordering alcoholic beverages who appear to be 40 years old or younger.
• Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the bar area.
• Prepare and serve drinks to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide a personal touch to repeat guests by learning their names and favorite drinks.
• Coordinate food orders from guests seated in the bar area with the kitchen.
• Learn the menu and make recommendations to guests when appropriate.
• Upsell guests on food or drink items when relevant.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized.
• Accurately ring up all orders in the POS system.

Requirements:

• Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company-approved uniform at all times.
• Must be able to operate the POS system, make change correctly, and process credit card transactions.
• Must be able to calmly respond to angry guests and notify a manager.
• Must be able to pass bar validation.
• Must be able to respond clearly to guests' requests.
• Must be able to hear well in a loud environment.
• Must be able to frequently lift 30 lb. cases and carry them short distances, up or down stairs.
