We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technician III to join our team. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, and special procedures according to department protocols.

As a Radiology Technician III, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will be successful in meeting their imaging needs. You will also participate in quality control activities, assist in maintaining performance improvement programs, and supervise radiology staff in your absence.

Responsibilities
  • Performs diagnostic radiographic, CT scan, mammography, bone density, ultrasound, and special procedures according to department protocols.
  • Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in meeting their imaging needs.
  • Participates in quality control activities.
  • Assists in maintaining performance improvement programs.
  • Supervises radiology staff in your absence.
  • Maintains department supplies.
  • Promotes teamwork and good customer service.
  • Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline.
  • Does scheduling for assigned sub-departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub-departments.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Qualifications
  • Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Effective July 1, 2017, national certification in three modalities or if functioning in a leadership role, national certification in two modalities and leadership experience required.
  • Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • Current BCLS (AHA).
  • One year of acute clinical radiography preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
  • Proficient computer skills.
