Your Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive audiological services to patients of all ages, encompassing hearing evaluations, electrophysiologic testing (ABR and ASSR), vestibular assessments, and amplification selection and fitting. This includes conventional hearing aids, ALDs, bone anchored implants, and cochlear implants.
- Collaborate with patients and families to establish diagnoses, set treatment goals, and implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs. Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Maintain meticulous records of patient data, prepare reports, process billing, and ensure efficient file management systems.
- Actively participate in initiatives that promote audiological health and hearing loss prevention within the community.
- Educate patients and families on best practices for maintaining optimal hearing health and addressing common concerns.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated expertise in audiological principles, practices, standards, and techniques.
- Knowledge of cochlear implant candidacy, activation, and follow-up procedures is highly desirable.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active or pending Alaska Audiology License.
- Valid professional degree in Audiology.
- Must have received the COVID-19 vaccine plus booster.
