Job Summary: The EVS Ambassador is a vital member of the Loma Linda University Medical Center team, responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize patient rooms, general areas, and high-touch surfaces to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Transport and store linens, supplies, and equipment as needed.
  • Restock and maintain linen carts, scrub dispensers, and shelving storage areas.
  • Distribute and track clean linens to user departments, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Perform other duties as needed to support the EVS team and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum one year of housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Able to read and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Able to distinguish colors and hear sufficiently to safely complete job duties.
  • Able to safely operate standard equipment required for the position.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
