About the Role

PSA Airlines is seeking a skilled Tech Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Tech Ops team, you will play a critical role in driving operational reliability by resolving aircraft discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical services to return out-of-service aircraft to service, including identifying technical data and developing action plans.
  • Develop and implement technical action plans to resolve repetitive discrepancies on aircraft, ensuring frontline AMTs have the necessary resources for efficient resolution.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance controllers, Tech Services Engineering, Supply Chain, and Reliability Engineering to achieve superior reliability results.
  • Facilitate technical data exchange between OEM MHIRJ and PSA frontline personnel to resolve repetitive aircraft discrepancies.
  • Responsible for recovering AOS and resolving repeat discrepancies on aircraft as needed.
  • Develop analytics to determine the effectiveness of technical action plans and drive revisions in Tech Data to achieve superior reliability results.
  • Provide 24/7 technical assistance to company personnel to increase technical competency.
  • Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in troubleshooting aircraft in transport category type aircraft.
  • Advanced aircraft maintenance analytical and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license or equivalent engineering experience.
  • Strong ability in the use of technical data, including wiring manuals, structural repair manuals, and engineering repairs.
  • Strong communication and verbal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced technical degree.
