Amergis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to students, including diagnostic assessments, therapeutic interventions, and behavioral support.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' needs and promote academic and social success.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, focusing on skills development, emotional regulation, and social skills.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement behavioral support plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement school-wide initiatives to promote student well-being and academic success.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress monitoring.
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure to practice as a psychologist in the state of employment.
- Minimum of one year of experience working with students in a school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Computer proficiency and ability to use electronic health records and other software applications.
