Job Summary

Amergis is seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team. As a School Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological services to students, including diagnostic assessments, therapeutic interventions, and behavioral support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments to identify students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' needs and promote academic and social success.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions to students, focusing on skills development, emotional regulation, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to develop and implement behavioral support plans.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement school-wide initiatives to promote student well-being and academic success.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress monitoring.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure to practice as a psychologist in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with students in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Computer proficiency and ability to use electronic health records and other software applications.
