Job Overview

About the Role

The Service Leader will be responsible for managing a team of caregivers and direct support professionals, ensuring the highest quality of care and support is provided to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This includes evaluating and improving operations, creating a positive work environment, and ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise a team of caregivers and direct support professionals
  • Evaluate and improve operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals served
  • Monitor budgets and finances to ensure responsible use of resources
  • Complete required documentation in a timely manner
  • Coach and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance
Requirements
  • Experience in providing services and supports to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or related disorders preferred
  • High school diploma or General Education Diploma required; exceptions must comply with state law and regulations
  • Valid driver's license from state of residence with a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, both verbally and in writing
  • Capable of working responsibly with confidential information
  • Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
