Position Overview

St. Lawrence Health is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to provide high-quality patient care in our Potsdam location.

  • The ideal candidate will be board certified in Gastroenterology or have completed a gastroenterology fellowship within the past five years.
  • The position is located at the CPH/Leroy Outpatient Center, which offers a lower-level surgical area for most needs and an operating room for higher-risk patients and larger GI procedures.
  • The typical patient volume in the clinic is approximately 18-22 patients per day, with at least one day of OR/scoping required.
  • The electronic medical record system used is Epic.
  • A 1:4 call schedule is required for this position.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Pay: $563,000-$722,000*
  • Signing Bonus: $50,000

Pay Summary

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full-time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.

In addition to the base pay range, certain provider positions may be eligible for variable compensation in accordance with health system pay practices. This may include: productivity and/or value-based clinical incentives, bonus compensation, or other forms of variable pay.
