Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our Med Surg Ortho team at Methodist Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our experienced staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing lab tests, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Assist with procedures, monitoring, and other functions as directed by the physician or RN.
  • Document patient care in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to help deliver quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) or Associate Degree/Vocational School Graduate.
