At Lakeview Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a casual position. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with medical staff to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Performing independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a safe and cost-effective manner.
- Supporting medical staff and other hospital staff in providing quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a Respiratory Care program.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (for employees working in Wisconsin).
- Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
- Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of MN.
- Current BLS - American Heart Association or BLS - American Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider).
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date.
- If working inpatient, NRP certification is required within 6 months of start date.
- Minimum of one-year acute care experience.
