POSITION SUMMARY

DEPARTMENT:
Bariatrics Division

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS

KEY ATTRIBUTES
Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience preferred
Strong leadership and communication capabilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership & Management: Oversee the daily operations of the practice, collaborating with physicians and practice managers to address issues; serve as the clinical resource for LPNs, MOAs, and clerical staff; ensure patient rounding is conducted effectively using AIDET (Acknowledge, Introduce, Duration, Explanation, Thank You); recognize staff achievements and provide constructive feedback when necessary; participate in the recruitment process and ensure adherence to peer interview protocols.
Patient Care: Accountable for achieving practice goals in patient satisfaction, employee engagement, financial performance, and quality metrics that align with organizational objectives.
Issue Resolution: Address concerns promptly during patient rounds; follow up on issues with the lead physician and nurse manager; maintain awareness of high-risk patients and ensure their care plans are up to date.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Associate's Degree:
Nursing (Required)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Medium Work - Involves exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.


CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (AHA)
RN - Registered Nurse - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

SALARY RANGE:
$70,000 - $89,045.00
The stated salary range reflects a good faith estimate of potential base pay for successful candidates. Actual pay may vary based on experience, qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.
