Job Title: Addiction Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Addiction Specialist to join our PACT (Program for Assertive Community Treatment) team. As a key member of our team, you will provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to adults with substance abuse conditions and co-occurring mental illness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement intervention strategies and relapse prevention plans
  • Work with individuals to address sobriety issues using motivational interviewing techniques and the stages of change model
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to promote recovery and community integration
  • Collaborate with the PACT team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements:
  • CADAC, LADAC I or II certification in the state of service required
  • Three to five years of supervised practical experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting with individuals with psychiatric disabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service discipline preferred; High School Diploma or GED required
  • Strong time management, writing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to pass a CORI, driving record, reference, educational, and professional licensure check, as well as a multi-state background check
