Job Summary:The Gastroenterology Resource Nurse will play a crucial role in supporting clinic access, care coordination, and addressing pre-procedure inquiries. This role requires a strong understanding of gastrointestinal conditions, procedures, and treatment modalities, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:- Support clinic access and care coordination
- Address pre-procedure inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with the Quality and Safety team to ensure efficient patient care delivery
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Provide education and support to patients and families
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- At least 2 years of nursing experience
- Current licensure as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Strong understanding of gastrointestinal conditions, procedures, and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
