We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Prisma Health. Job Summary

Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse or Physician, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, focusing on their physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing patient care based on individualized plans of care, as delegated by the Registered Nurse or Physician.
  • Monitoring and documenting patient status and condition, including vital signs, drains, dressings, and lab values.
  • Informing the Registered Nurse or Physician of activities performed, observations of patients, and changes in patient status.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential patient medical records.
  • Collecting and documenting data as delegated by the Registered Nurse or Physician, using specialized equipment as needed.
  • Administering and documenting medications per policy.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Completion of an LPN program recognized by the SC State Board of Nursing.
  • One year of experience as an LPN.
  • Licensure to practice as an LPN in South Carolina.
