Education Liaison

Join the YMCA of the Twin Tiers team as an Education Liaison, supporting the 21st CCLC Program in providing high-quality educational services to children. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Program Director and Site Supervisor/Coordinator to develop and implement program plans that meet the highest standards.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, including emergency procedures and risk management.
• Develop and implement engaging program lesson plans that meet grant guidelines and YMCA standards.
• Collaborate with the Program Director, Site Supervisor/Coordinator, principals, and teachers to ensure program goals are met.
• Document attendance, incidents, and other program-related activities in compliance with state requirements.
• Assist staff in delivering program services and support the implementation of curriculum, instruction, and assessment.
• Monitor instructional delivery to targeted students and attend monthly meetings with the Site Supervisor/Coordinator.
• Supervise and maintain the appearance of the site, ensuring a high-quality environment for children.
• Work collaboratively with other child care staff and attend staff meetings and in-service workshops as required.

We seek candidates with a strong background in education and youth development, holding a valid teaching certification and at least three years of experience in planning and implementing youth programs. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.

Prior to employment, documentation of state clearances must be on-file.
