Responsibilities- Provide Basic Bedside Care: Stabilize critical cardiac patients and provide essential care to ensure their comfort and well-being.
- Perform Medical Procedures: Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs as needed to provide optimal patient care.
- Administer Medication: Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, monitoring patients for any adverse reactions.
- Monitor and Adjust Equipment: Use specialized equipment to monitor patients' vital signs and adjust settings as needed to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Initiate Corrective Action: Respond promptly to any changes in patient condition, taking corrective action to prevent complications.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar setting
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Chemotherapy (CHEMO) certifications
