Job Summary

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a skilled Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join our team in a Travel position in Louisiana.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform complex interventional procedures, including coronary artery disease, STEMI, cardiogenic shock, and diagnostic cath procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Operate imaging systems, including Philips imaging systems, and ancillary equipment, such as IVUS, EKOS, FFR, and Laser.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency.
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Cath Lab setting, with at least 1.5 years of experience in the last year.
  • 2 years of experience as an X-ray Technologist (XRT) in a Cath Lab setting.
  • Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  • Valid driver's license to float between facilities.
  • Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate, with experience in hemodynamic monitoring and sterile technique.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment
  • Willis Knighton Pierremont and Willis Knighton Bossier facilities.
  • Float between facilities as needed.
  • Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 0700-1530, with rotating call and weekend rotations.
  • Call required: 2 days a week overnight, with a 30-minute callback period.
