Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Supervisor to manage the receiving, storage, and distribution functions within our facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective handling and dispatch of a diverse range of products.

In this role, your primary objective will be to meet productivity goals while ensuring that all warehouse operations are conducted efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategically oversee warehouse operations in alignment with the company's policies and strategic vision.
2. Continuously enhance your understanding of the logistics landscape.
3. Act as a key point of contact between our logistics partners and transportation providers.
4. Supervise receiving, storage, distribution, and third-party logistics (3PL) activities.
5. Design warehouse layout and ensure optimal space utilization.
6. Initiate, coordinate, and enforce best operational practices and procedures.
7. Comply with all relevant warehousing, handling, and shipping regulations.
8. Uphold standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security within the warehouse.
9. Collaborate with the Operations Manager to optimize budgetary allocations.
10. Communicate effectively with drivers, staff, customer service representatives, and transport companies.
11. Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate warehouse personnel.
12. Gather feedback and monitor the quality of services rendered.
13. Address and resolve any issues related to packages and drivers as they arise.
14. Be prepared to frequently lift and move packages weighing up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a warehouse management role.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse management practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to implement process improvement strategies.
- Hands-on experience with warehouse management systems and databases.
- Strong leadership capabilities and staff management skills.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- A preferred Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
