Position SummaryThe Staff Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering compassionate care and support to patients at our centers. This position requires a professional who can effectively manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities encompass a range of clinical services, nursing interventions, patient referrals, medical follow-ups, and educational guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Stay updated on nursing practices related to pregnancy, STIs, disease prevention, and treatment.
- Conduct nursing services including pregnancy and STI testing, client education, and maintaining accurate client records.
- Perform limited ultrasounds as required.
- Ensure clinic cleanliness and safety in accordance with established policies.
- Support volunteer recruitment, training, and supervision.
- Contribute to program development initiatives.
- Assist the Nurse Manager with administrative tasks and support the Director.
- Collaborate with staff to fill staffing gaps as needed.
- Opportunity to lead childbirth education classes based on qualifications.
- Assist in planning and executing training sessions and volunteer appreciation events.
- Participate in staff development activities and major organizational events.
- Current Registered Nurse's License in good standing.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
- Experience with ultrasounds is advantageous.
- Spanish language skills are a plus.
- Strong commitment to the sanctity of life.
- Demonstrated Christian values in personal and professional conduct.
- Active involvement in a local church community.
- Passion for the mission of Life Network and outreach efforts.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and foster positive relationships.
- Physical capability to lift 20 to 30 lbs. as needed.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new software.
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. Compensation is competitive, and the role includes a comprehensive benefits package.
