What to Expect
  • Provide nursing care to residents in post-acute facilities
  • Follow and adhere to resident care plans
  • Measure and monitor vital signs, reporting to your supervisor as necessary
  • Observe resident conditions during your shift and report concerns to the nursing team
  • Serve meals and assist with feeding as needed
  • Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, mobility, and toileting
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces, maintain resident rooms, and ensure a hygienic environment
  • Communicate with medical staff, residents, and visitors
  • Move residents safely and reposition them as needed
  • Offer compassionate support and companionship to residents
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Current Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology and nursing care procedures
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • Effective organizational and communication skills
  • Appropriate bedside manner
