Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic procedures in the clinical laboratory setting, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and laboratory services.
- Work collaboratively with laboratory staff and other hospital departments to maintain excellent rapport and ensure seamless communication.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and laboratory services.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Technologist (ASCP or equivalent) preferred.
- Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license.
