Math Instructor

We are a dynamic team of instructors at Mathnasium of Hillsboro, dedicated to making a real difference in students' lives. Our teaching philosophy revolves around teaching math in a way that makes sense to students, building them up from where they are at in terms of their math abilities.

• Teach math in a study hall-type environment to students of all ages, with a focus on the K-8th grade range.
• Help students solve their own problems, rather than simply telling them what to do.
• Work in a unique environment, utilizing a specific teaching methodology that has been time-tested and proven effective.
• Be open-minded and coachable, taking instruction and feedback to improve teaching skills.

• Solid math skills and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment, navigating confined spaces and communicating effectively with students and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work at least 3 days out of the 5 days we are open, with opportunities for regular work and steady, regular hours.
• Availability to take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency, provide work authorization, and pass a background check.
