Job Description

We're seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Infusion team, where you'll have the opportunity to expand into a high-end outpatient specialty field that continues to grow and evolve. As an RN, you'll play a vital role in contributing to improved patient outcomes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer antibiotics, biologic medications, and chemotherapy/immunotherapy
  • Provide initial and ongoing patient education prior to each procedure and drug administration
  • Offer emotional support and reassurance to patients throughout treatment
  • Monitor and assess patients throughout the infusion treatment and report any adverse reactions to physicians
  • Schedule patients according to their treatment regimen
  • Strong triage skills for patient needs throughout their infusion and for patient phone calls
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Current NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Infusion experience a plus, but we'll provide training to an experienced RN or new grad nurse
  • ONS Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certification or will assist candidate to obtain certification within 6-9 months after hire
  • Med Surg/Hospital experience preferred but not required
  • Strong computer skills, EMR experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
