Key Responsibilities
As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will:
- Ensure safe and effective care for patients in the pre-operative and post-operative phases.
- Manage patient admissions efficiently in the Same Day Surgery Unit.
- Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments prior to scheduled procedures.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver nursing care tailored to individual patient needs.
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
- A degree from an accredited School of Nursing; a BSN is preferred.
- Current Texas licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical experience, with a preference for post-anesthesia care experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Pediatric Life Support (PLS) from recognized organizations.
