About the Role

Magna Chek Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our facility and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and track preventative maintenance on machinery and the facility
  • Conduct lubrication and oil changes on various equipment
  • Troubleshoot, disassemble, and reassemble equipment as needed
  • Assist with maintaining inventory of stock parts and supplies
  • Perform general facility maintenance, including motors, electrical, plumbing, and other tasks
Requirements
  • Must have knowledge and be capable of using hand tools
  • Must be capable of carrying heavy loads for long distances
  • Must be physically capable of climbing and working from ladders with heights up to 25 feet
  • Good communication skills, attendance, and team player
  • Must be able to read and understand job instructions, repair manuals, and safety rules
  • Some motor experience and electrical knowledge are highly desirable
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with production machines, including machine repair, hi-lo repair, and PM duties
  • Experience with blasting maintenance
  • Experience with repair welding and electrical work
  • Mechanical aptitude
