Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Technician to join our team at Jabil. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze daily process yield reports to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with test engineers to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and increase process yields.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain process bibles and 5x5s to ensure consistency and accuracy in our manufacturing processes.
  • Perform walkthroughs and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct NPI test evaluations to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
  • Proactively identify and prevent test escapes to ensure the quality and reliability of our products.
  • Update and generate documentation as required to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist project test engineers with test process review and evaluation.
  • Evaluate test probes and ensure they are functioning correctly.
  • Set up equipment to perform programming and verification tests following established procedures.
  • Ensure quality and improve efficiency through the use of the SPC system.
  • Operate automated electronic test equipment on manufactured circuit board assemblies and subassemblies.
  • Responsible for maintaining a continuous flow of the manufacturing line and meeting production goals.
  • Correctly label and stamp boards and fill out tags.
  • Advise supervisor of any recurring test failures to prompt corrective action.
  • Ensure assemblies are properly handled and marked.
  • Ensure daily logs and move/production tickets are accurately maintained.
  • Follow simple, standardized, and routine written directions for assigned test operations.
  • Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations.
  • Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
Requirements
  • AS degree, Technical School Certification, or equivalent and 5 to 10 years experience, or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
  • Knowledge and understanding of all test engineering department's procedures pertaining to the individual's job.
