Job Overview

NorthWestern Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Superintendent, Distribution Wildfire Infrastructure. This position will provide effective leadership and management of internal and/or contracted engineering staff assigned to Distribution wildfire mitigation and section reliability projects throughout the Montana Service Territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and management of internal and/or contracted engineering staff
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies
  • Ensure compliance with project objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with local division managers to optimize internal crew use and scheduling
  • Provide proactive customer project awareness and investigate and resolve customer concerns

Requirements:

  • BS degree in Engineering
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain within 24 months
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple conflicting tasks while managing stressful situations
  • Highly organized with ability to provide clear direction and expectations to reporting staff
