Pediatric ER Nurse Opportunity

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Pediatric ER Nurse to join our team for a travel nursing assignment in Des Moines, Iowa.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Pediatric Emergency Department. As a Pediatric ER Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with a range of medical conditions, from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and treat patients with pediatric emergencies, including trauma, respiratory distress, and cardiac issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Pediatric ER nursing.
  • Current RN licensure in Iowa or compact state.
  • BLS and PALS certifications.
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred.
