The primary focus will be on the upkeep of various analytical instruments, alongside supporting the overall maintenance team.

Job Overview: The Instrumentation Maintenance Technician will be tasked with the installation, upkeep, calibration, and troubleshooting of analytical devices and systems utilized in the refinery. This position is crucial for ensuring the precise and dependable functioning of process analyzers, thereby promoting safe and efficient operations.

Key Duties:
  • Install, maintain, and calibrate a range of analyzers, such as gas chromatographs, pH meters, and oxygen analyzers.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on all analytical devices.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning analyzers to reduce operational downtime.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, calibration results, and repairs conducted.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure analyzers fulfill operational needs.
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulations during all tasks.
  • Engage in continuous improvement efforts to boost analyzer performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with process analyzers in an industrial setting, ideally within the oil refining industry.
  • Solid understanding of electronics, instrumentation, and control systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and hazardous area classifications.
