Licensed Radiologic Technologist

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is in search of a Licensed Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing high-quality imaging services within a multi-specialty healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identity and review medical orders prior to conducting imaging procedures.
- Utilize radiographic equipment to capture detailed images of patients' anatomical structures as directed by medical professionals.
- Communicate imaging processes to patients and address any inquiries they may have.
- Position patients appropriately, which may involve assisting those with limited mobility.
- Minimize radiation exposure by applying protective lead shields as necessary.
- Ensure the quality of images captured to avoid the need for repeat examinations.
- Collaborate with the Radiologist to assess the necessity for additional imaging.
- Maintain radiographic equipment, ensuring it is in optimal working condition.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or damage to management promptly.
- Keep precise records of all imaging procedures performed.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, Radiology, or a related discipline is required.
- A valid New York State License is mandatory.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification is preferred.
- A background in medical fields such as EMT, CMA, or Medical Assistant is advantageous.
- New graduates are encouraged to apply.
