The role of a Medical Instrument Technician - Sterilization Specialist at Southern Dental Implants & Oral Surgery involves ensuring the highest level of sterility and cleanliness in medical instruments used during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleanliness and Sterilization: Collect, clean, and sterilize all medical instruments, equipment, and supplies to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
  • Maintenance and Inspection: Regularly inspect and maintain decontamination equipment, as well as perform routine tests to identify any issues or problems with sterilization processes.
  • Packaging and Preparation: Prepare and package decontaminated supplies for sterilization, ensuring they are properly cleaned and sanitized before use.
  • Instrument Handling: Handle and store medical instruments in a way that maintains their integrity and prevents damage, ensuring they remain sterile and usable.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of sterilization procedures, sterilized items, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.

Requirements:

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, employee assistance program, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
