This is an exciting opportunity to join Charter Communications as an IT Director, leading corporate IT initiatives that align with the company's strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and implementing IT functions, including network infrastructure development and maintenance, applications programming, and enterprise systems development and administration.
Key Responsibilities- Organize and direct IT functions, including local area network and wide area network hardware and software, infrastructure development and maintenance, applications programming/analysis, and enterprise systems development and administration.
- Implement IT standards, policies, and/or master plan for the IT function.
- Guide the development and acquisition of new technologies and tools to improve the organization's internal operations and data delivery.
- Continually evaluate technology strategies and implement new technological directions.
- Guide the organization in their deployment and advise IT leadership of enhancements to existing applications and implementation of new systems.
- Provide strategic guidance and technical assistance to IT staff and business partners.
- Lead experience in IT work, with years of experience in leadership, project management, and IT work.
- BA/BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, or related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with Word and Excel, knowledge of computer and/or network systems, applications, procedures, and techniques.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
