Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage projects and workgroups for the State Hospital, ensuring timely completion and adherence to established direction and objectives.
  • Develop and implement project plans, goals, and objectives, and track project outcomes and provide regular reports and updates.
  • Lead or participate in assigned committees and workgroups, facilitating meetings and elevating risks or issues as appropriate.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with staff, stakeholders, consumers, and their families, advocacy groups, and other relevant parties.
  • Prepare and coordinate various reports, including legislative reports and executive briefings, and communicate or present information to stakeholders, management, and legislative staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Ability to manage project activities, establish project goals and objectives, and exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify project risks and gaps and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present information effectively and lead committees.
  • Knowledge of State Hospital operations and services, including the Agency's strategic plan, policies, and critical issues.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations relevant to program areas and of the principles and practices of public administration and management.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, using initiative and independent judgment to manage projects and workgroups. The position also requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
