Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technician to join our dedicated surgical services team at Norman Regional Porter Health Village. As a CST, you will play a vital role in ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients during surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate teamwork and maintain a sterile environment
  • Maintain a safe environment for patients during surgical procedures
  • Orient new Surgical Technicians to surgical areas with an extensive orientation program and dedicated preceptor
  • Assist surgeons during operative procedures and maintain an aseptic environment in the Operating Room area
  • Participate in on-call shifts, 5-7 days per month, and cover one full weekend of call per month
  • Provide care and maintain professional standards under all circumstances
Requirements:
  • Minimum years of recent clinical experience as a CST/Surgical Technician required
  • Current LPN license, if applicable, in Oklahoma
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • National Certification highly preferred
