Role Overview: As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the seamless operation of our production machinery, ensuring we meet our output goals while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare machines for production runs, ensuring they are correctly calibrated and configured.
- Oversee machine performance during operations, making adjustments as needed to maintain peak efficiency and product quality.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to detect and resolve any issues or potential failures.
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Keep accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, output quantities, and any deviations from standard procedures.
Qualifications:
- Experience in production machine operation is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, stooping, and lifting materials up to 50lbs.
- Dependable attendance and commitment to scheduled shifts are essential.
- A desire to contribute to a growing company.
- Experience in food production or packaging is beneficial but not required.
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to schedule changes.
- Enjoyment of teamwork and collaboration.
Job Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position.
- 12-hour shifts: 5am-5pm or 5pm-5am (initial training may involve 10-hour shifts).
- Overtime pay is available for hours worked beyond 2 hours in a day.
- Shift schedule: Sunday through every other Wednesday (first half of the week) for Day Shift 5am-5pm and Night Shift 5pm-5am; every other Wednesday through Saturday (second half of the week) for Day Shift 5am-5pm and Night Shift 5pm-5am.
- Pay rate: $18.15 for Day Shift; $20.65 for Night Shift (includes a $2.50/hr differential).
