Polymer Formulation Expert

We are seeking a Chemical Technician to support our Materials Lab team in Texas. As a Chemical Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting the Performance Products - Materials business to achieve its profitability goals.

• Perform laboratory/pilot scale experiments involving various chemistries, such as polyurethane formulations, dispersants, and epoxy formulations.
• Maintain and operate laboratory test equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
• Develop and implement methods to improve laboratory efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve product quality issues and develop innovative solutions.

• Associate Degree in Chemical Technology applied chemistry or related field with 3+ years of related experience.
• Expert laboratory/mechanical skills, aptitude, and knowledge of polymer applications, particularly polyurethane spray foam.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
