Water Operations Technician

Are you prepared to take on a vital role in maintaining the efficient functioning of Saltwater Disposal and Water Wells? We are seeking dedicated individuals who prioritize safety, responsibility, and collaboration.

Position Overview:

Responsible for the operation of Saltwater Disposal and Water Wells.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing daily operational tasks at the facility.
  • Compiling daily operational reports.
  • Verifying loads to ensure fluid quality for disposal.
  • Cleaning SWD filter baskets on pumps.
  • Conducting routine inspections of equipment and operational functions.
  • Ensuring adherence to HSE policies and saltwater disposal regulations.
  • Measuring tank levels.
  • Keeping accurate meter readings and integrating data into daily reports.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Monitoring water levels to ensure tanks operate within specified parameters.
  • Tracking and accounting for skim oil volumes extracted from the facility.
  • Performing both preventive and corrective maintenance as needed.
  • Monitoring pump pressures.
  • Overseeing drivers to ensure compliance with procedures and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Reporting any safety or environmental concerns to management.
  • Understanding and following all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in saltwater disposal operations is required.

Work Environment:

  • Field-based operations.
  • The physical demands of this role require meeting specific criteria to successfully perform job functions.

Position Type and Hours:

  • This is a full-time role.
  • Available Rotation Schedules:
    • 10/4, 5/2, or 5/3
    • Day and night shifts are offered
    • Occasional on-call duties during nights
