Database Engineer

This position is for a Database Engineer to design, develop, build, analyze, evaluate, and install database management systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Oracle Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) in Development & O&M environments, PLSQL/SQL, and Linux/UNIX Operating System Experience.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, build, analyze, evaluate, and install database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation, and configuration management.
Use data mapping, data mining, and data transformational analysis tools to design and develop databases.
Determine data storage and optimum storage requirements.
Prepare system requirements, source analysis, process analyses, and design throughout the database implementation.
Requirements
Oracle RDBMS in Development & O&M environments
PLSQL/SQL - Design, development, and troubleshooting
Linux/UNIX Operating System Experience
Perform RDBMS upgrades, patches, and new installations/de-installations
Linux Shell Scripting experience
Preferred Skills
Install, configure, and secure 19C RAC, ASM, and single node RDBMSs
Oracle Spatial - Design, development, and troubleshooting
GoldenGate Experience: Installation, Maintenance, and Troubleshooting
Oracle RMAN Backup & Recovery
Oracle Utilities: SQL *Loader, export/import, and Data Pump
Oracle Development Utilities: SQL *Plus, SQL *Developer
