### Key Responsibilities

* Lead and direct plant maintenance activities to ensure equipment and facilities are kept in optimum operating conditions
* Report to Maintenance Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known, while providing technical expertise regarding plant equipment and facilities
* Initiate and/or maintain a cost-effective preventive maintenance program and implement quality improvement and cost reduction ideas
* Contact and work with vendors and subcontractors to achieve desired results
* Maintain adequate inventories of spare parts and purchase materials, parts, and supplies as required
* Troubleshoot and solve problems
* Partner with Maintenance Manager to develop technical skillset of maintenance team
* Supports the work order system and tracks work orders through completion
* Responsible for planning of maintenance projects including scheduling of personnel (employees and contractors), maintaining project budget, accessing machine manuals, ensuring needed parts are in inventory, working with production team to schedule time and ensuring work orders are in the system, updated and completed throughout the project
* Works in conjunction with the Maintenance Manager and local leadership team to schedule predictive/preventative maintenance activities to keep all equipment in good working order
* Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, leads some Environmental Health & Safety initiatives in the facility including: air permitting, storm water compliance, HAZMAT, waste water compliance, roof maintenance, Infrared inspections, compressed air management, cooling tower/chiller, air handlers, fire & safety system, inspections, contractor training, employee training, electrical, hot work, etc.

### Qualifications

* Associates Degree and/or related technical courses required
* Mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity experience required
* Four years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant preferred
* Experience in the corrugated box industry with heavy experience in electronics preferred
* Demonstrated personnel supervisory skills
