About the Role

As a Personal Care and Wellness Assistant, you will be responsible for providing daily care to patients, including personal grooming and hygiene, support with oral, denture, and skin care, and assisting with bathing, dressing, and bathroom activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily care to patients, including personal grooming and hygiene
  • Support patients with oral, denture, and skin care
  • Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and bathroom activities
  • Take vital signs of patients, e.g., temperature, blood pressure, and respiration, and record information
  • Assist patients to dining area for meals and document intake of nourishment
  • Assist with personal grooming of patients, e.g., brushing hair, trimming fingernails and toenails, and shaving
  • Turn patients intermittently if they are bedridden due to illness
  • Document and/or report information regarding patients' health, I&O, any change of medical condition, and care given
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferred
  • A current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from the State of Georgia is required
