Key Responsibilities
- Process guest check-in/check-outs, verifying guest identity.
- Respond to and resolve guest requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Secure payments and adjust billing as needed.
- Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, and local attractions.
- Process night audit, running daily reports, and communicating with the next shift's staff.
- Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank securely.
- Accept and record wake-up calls, delivering them to the right department.
- Maintain confidentiality of all guests and proprietary information.
- Communicate any emergencies, lost items, or theft to the proper staff or authorities.
- Report maintenance problems, accidents, and safety hazards.
- Keep contingency lists in case of emergencies and communicate necessary messages.
- Protect company assets and comply with all quality assurance expectations.
- A professional demeanor, warm, and welcoming personality.
- Ability to engage easily and actively connect with others.
- Be genuinely caring, compassionate, and able to understand others.
- Create confidence and trust while communicating effectively.
- Be comfortable conversing with individuals from various backgrounds and organizational levels.
- Be direct yet tactful and considerate of the audience.
- Speak clearly and professionally, answering telephones with proper etiquette.
- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on premises.
