We are seeking a skilled Surveillance Investigator to join our team. As a Surveillance Investigator, you will perform discreet mobile and stationary surveillance of claimants to confirm current activities and capabilities, assisting with the administration of insurance claims.

  • Conduct independent investigations of insurance claims across various coverage types, including workers' compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability
  • Utilize various surveillance techniques and equipment to monitor subjects covertly
  • Document and report observations, activities, and relevant information in a clear and concise manner
  • Collaborate with other investigators and law enforcement agencies as needed to gather information and coordinate efforts
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical standards in conducting surveillance operations
Responsibilities

As a Surveillance Investigator, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough investigations of insurance claims
  • Collecting and analyzing evidence to support claims
  • Developing and implementing effective surveillance strategies
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless claim processing
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements

To be successful as a Surveillance Investigator, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Post-offer training and orientation
  • Prior experience in insurance or investigations
  • Flexibility to work varied and irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
