Job Summary
Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement network architecture to support voice, data, and video services for exercises and events.
- Manage network integration and use of networks owned and managed by external organizations, including NIPR, SIPR, CENTRIXS, and other networks as required.
- Coordinate network design, requirements, and responsibilities with other teams and external organizations.
- Design and establish network architecture, configure network equipment, and assist in installing equipment and circuits in support of distributed events and exercises.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in network architecture design, implementation, and management.
- Advanced knowledge in network planning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Advanced knowledge of network hardware and software components.
- Strong understanding of technology integration, information flow, configuration, and implementation of LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and security.
- Must understand and be able to apply RMF methodology and the Certification and Accreditation process.
- Must have experience in applying network patches and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and performing other RMF Cybersecurity tasks.
Education Requirements
BA/BS degree in Information Technology or related field and IAT Level II and required CE certifications, or DCWF equivalent.
Additional Requirements
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Active Security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
