Network ASIC Architect

This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of future generations of networking technology.
- Collaborate with other network architects, ASIC designers, and NIC software engineers.
- Evaluate various network architecture concepts and how they impact system level design trade-off analysis and optimization.
- Design, assess, develop, modify, and evaluate electrical/electronic parts, components, sub-systems, algorithms, or integrated circuitry for electrical/electronic equipment and other hardware systems.
- Evaluate the reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques used in production.
- Work on complex problems where assessment of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
- Provide expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
- Act as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies.
- Oversee multiple project teams of other electrical hardware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners responsible for all stages of electrical hardware design and development for complex products, solutions, and platforms, including design, validation, tooling, and testing.
- Manage and expand relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
- Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development guidelines and standards; provide tangible feedback to improve product quality.
- Provide domain-specific expertise and overall electrical/electronic hardware and platform leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
- Drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the electrical hardware design organization.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Expert in network architecture and possess knowledge in network security.
- Capable of evaluating various network architecture concepts and how they impact system level design trade-off assessment and optimization.
- Collaboration with other network architects, ASIC designers, and NIC software engineers will be an integral part of this role.
- Experience in overall network architecture for products and solutions.
- Evaluating and proposing forms of empirical analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies to validate component, circuit, and hardware designs and thermal/emissions management.
- Mastery in English and local language.
- Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
