Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Inspector to join our team at Western States Fire Protection Company. As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with life safety codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and services of life safety product lines
  • Install, repair, and maintain all types of fixed extinguishing systems, including underground piping
  • Operate with minimal supervision while performing fire protection inspections
  • Communicate daily with Project Manager and/or Schedule Coordinator on inspection or project delays, requirements, and general status of job
  • Work with Project Manager, Schedule Coordinator, and Office Administrative Staff to ensure complete closeout and turnover of jobs to the client
  • Comply with union collective bargaining agreement
Requirements
  • NICET Level II or ASSE certification
  • Strong working knowledge of life safety and NFPA codes
  • Working knowledge of alarm panels, devices, and critical components
  • Working knowledge of sprinkler controls, alarm panels, devices, and critical components
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Regular bending, reaching, climbing, and walking
  • Valid driver's license, in accordance with Company policy
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen, background, and reference check
