Job Summary

This position reports to the Technical Supervisor and is responsible for safely operating and maintaining Terminal Measurement equipment. The successful candidate will have experience in midstream operations, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain Terminal Measurement equipment
  • Prove meters, document results, and perform maintenance tasks
  • Interface with internal and external contacts/resources
  • Work closely with the Loss Control group on measurement-related issues
  • Climb tank stairs, operate valves and pumps, and gauge tanks
  • Accept product deliveries via pipeline and perform sampling and testing
  • Complete required paperwork prior to and after product receipts
  • Maintain assigned equipment, including meters and sampling equipment
  • Perform meter performance verifications using portable and/or stationary provers
  • Witness meter performance verifications as performed by third-party contractors
  • Maintain and operate custody transfer measurement facilities
  • Understand system balance processes, ticket writing, and statistical meter factor tracking

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience in midstream operations
  • Valid driver's license in the applicant's state of residence
  • Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC) card
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use sound judgment and work independently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications

Working Conditions

The work environment includes lifting up to 50 lbs, driving, walking, and standing frequently, exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions, and heavy lifting. Occasional overnight travel may be required.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
